Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how cancellations and refunds are treated for Rapidfiling engagements. Each engagement's quote states the payment terms that govern it; where the quote and this policy differ, the quote prevails.

Before work starts

An enquiry can be withdrawn at any time at no cost; an enquiry is not an engagement. Any amounts paid before work begins are refundable in full on request.

After work starts

Once document preparation or a filing has begun, professional fees for the work already performed are chargeable, and government fees already paid to an authority are not recoverable; they are paid to the authority on your behalf. The quote's breakdown makes this arithmetic visible before you approve it.

Government fees

Fees paid to government authorities (filing fees, stamp duties, licence fees) are governed by the authority's own rules. Where an authority refunds or abates a fee, we pass the amount through when received.

Cancellation by Rapidfiling

If we stop work on an engagement for reasons within our control (capacity, conflicts, or a scope we cannot honestly deliver), unearned professional fees are refunded.

How to cancel

Cancel through the contact channel on the Contact page, quoting your enquiry or engagement reference. We confirm the cancellation and the applicable treatment in writing.

This policy must match the commercial terms the owner approves before launch; it is reviewed with counsel as part of the launch checklist.
